Blue Cheese and Pear Tart
Makes about 8 large servings
1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
4 oz. blue cheese, crumbled
2 pears, cut into thin slices
1 Tablespoon honey
1 Tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
Salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 400°
Unfold the pastry sheet on to a cutting board. Roll or stretch out just a bit and place it on parchment lined cooking sheet.
Fold the edges up about 1/4" and crimp with a fork.
Sprinkle blue cheese and rosemary onto pastry. Arrange the pears on top of cheese. Drizzle pears with honey.
Bake pastry for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and cut into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes:
*I also made this with brie instead of blue cheese and that was delicious as well.
