Enjoy the flavors of Tuscany with these delicious grilled tuna steaks!
Heat grill to medium high
In a small bowl combine lemon zest, rosemary, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper. Drizzle in olive oil until a wet paste forms. You want enough oil in the paste so the steaks do not stick to the grill.
Rub herb paste over both sides of tuna steaks. Let sit for 15 minutes at room temperature or up to 3 hours in refrigerator.
Grill tuna approximately 6-8 minutes a side depending on how done you like your tuna. About 4 minutes a side for rare.
Be sure to allow your grill to get hot and make sure it is clean so the tuna does not stick to the grates.
Use a spatula not tongs to flip and be gentle.
