A comforting casual, quick and easy dinner that is on the table in 20 minutes!
In a large straight sided skillet or dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add onions, celery and jalapeño. Cook until soft, about 4 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for another couple minutes.
Add ground beef and cook through, about 7 minutes.
Turn the heat down and add ketchup. Allow the ketchup to cook for a few minutes to remove the raw taste.
Add tomatoes, worcestershire and water and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper and serve on hamburger buns.
If you like it spicier then add in the seeds and ribs of jalapeno.
If you want it a bit sweeter then add an additional Tablespoon of ketchup
If you have a can/box of beef broth or chicken broth opened use that instead of water.
