A refreshing and sweet summer adult treat! A perfect way to serve juicy, crisp watermelon.
Zest limes and set zest aside.
Wash outside of watermelon. Cut into triangles with rind intact.
Place layers of watermelon slices into a large deep dish.
Pour tequila, triple sec and lime juice over slices. Place in refrigerator for 1 hour.
On a small plate combine salt and lime zest. Adjust the ratio to your liking.
After one hour of soaking remove watermelon from dish and garish with salt/lime mixture and serve. Serve cold!
