Easy recipe for how to roast a whole head of garlic in the oven. Delicious in just about everything!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Peel off most of the outer "paper" on the garlic, but leave the head intact.
Cut a 1/4 of the top of the head off.
Drizzle with about a tablespoon of olive oil over cut garlic head.
Wrap tightly in foil.
Roast in oven for about 45 minutes until the cloves become soft and deep in color. The amount of time it takes will depend on the size of the garlic, how old the garlic is....
Allow garlic to cool slightly then push on the bottom of the garlic head to push the cloves out of the paper.
