1 box white cake mix, plus the ingredients for preparation (typically eggs, oil and water)
1-14oz can sweetened condensed milk (the most incredible creation on earth)
1-9oz tub of Cool Whip, thawed
1-8oz can of cream of coconut
2 cups shredded coconut
In a 9x13 pan, bake the cake according to the directions on the box.
Immediately after you take the cake out of the oven poke holes in the top with a skewer or fork. Pour the condensed milk over the entire cake. Let the cake cool, about 20 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix together the Cool Whip and cream of coconut. Spread over the cake. Sprinkle coconut on top.
This cake is even better the next day. Just cover with plastic wrap and keep in fridge.
